The Corporate Project saw the realization of a series of investments aimed at improving the company’s environmental, quality and income. Specifically, the company has renovated the company’s headquarters building in order to make it more functional from a logistical point of view. The construction project involved the adaptation of a roof to be used as a storage for agricultural tools and the renovation of the cellar.

A photovoltaic system was installed in order to produce the electricity needed to meet the company’s needs. An electrical system has been built with low consumption LED lighting fixtures and, for the management of musts, fridges have been purchased with high energy efficiency. All the plants in the cellar have been adapted to the needs of the winery related to the winemaking processes (air-conditioning systems of the premises using high efficiency heat pumps).

A system for the conditioning of the barrels, a heat exchanger, a compressor, a water softener, a de-aerator, drainage ducts and other connecting elements has been purchased, in order to implement the plant equipment necessary to manage the quantities of grapes to be processed.

The business plan of the company Sturm has provided for the purchase of equipment for the management of the cultivated areas and in particular of a series of machinery necessary for the physical and mechanical weeding of vineyards and for the management of their grassing, an electrostatic sprayer for carrying out plant protection treatments and other equipment necessary to improve farm crop management operations.
